Brethren Microfinance Bank Ltd is the product of a vision by the Executive Management of EYN Church. A technical committee was then set up in 2012 to handle its incorporation and securing the CBN approval. The Bank was incorporated as a limited liability company on the 7th of July, 2017, with a certificate of registration number RC 1423616.
A final approval to operate as a state Microfinance bank in Adamawa state of Nigeria was obtained from the Central Bank of Nigeria on the 14th of November, 2017.
The Board of Directors comprising of eight members including the MD/CEO and other experienced bankers was inaugurated on the 5th of January, 2018. The bank started operations and opened its doors to the public at its head office branch situated at No. 9, Hospital Road, State Low-cost Housing Estate, Jimeta-Yola, Adamawa state on26th February, 2018.
